Experience
Jane has lived on the Monterey Peninsula for twenty seven years and has been involved in real estate finance for twenty years. Her specialties are single family residences, income producing property, and reverse mortgages for seniors. Prior to getting her real estate license, Jane was an international flight attendant and devoted much of her time to local non-profit groups.

Professional Designations:
Certified Mortgage Consultant™, a designation requiring additional education, experience and extensive testing. This is the highest designation awarded by the National Association of Mortgage Brokers.
Certified Senior Advisor® is a designation offered by the Society of Senior Advisors for professionals who wish to specialize in service to older adults. This designation also requires extensive education and examinations.

Family
Jane’s husband Jay is retired airline pilot and together they have raised two daughters who are both married and continue to live in northern California. Her father lives in Carmel Valley.

Community Activities:
Junior League of Monterey County: Jane has held several board positions and enjoyed running their Next-to-New fundraisers.

Rotary Club of Pacific Grove: Jane has served as President and has been VP Membership, Secretary, and Community Service Director. Currently she edits the Newsletter and is a Director at Large. In addition, Jane is chairman of the Monterey Peninsula Rotary Fund and has helped organize two recent golf tournaments to benefit the Rotacare Clinic in Seaside, Calif.

PG PRIDE (Public Response in Dollars for Education): a member of this board for many years, Jane served as Chairman and Treasurer and raised money for the Pacific Grove School Unified District and has been instrumental in helping to recruit and organize volunteers for the 1992, 2000 and 2010 U.S. Open at Pebble Beach fundraiser.

Community Hospital Auxiliary: Jane has volunteered for seventeen years with the Community Hospital Auxiliary, holding several elective offices and serving at the Reception Desk, in the Surgery ICU Lounge, the Auxiliary office and in the Pharmacy service. She also was the editor of the quarterly Auxiliary publication Currents. At this time she volunteers in the Emergency Department and helps train new volunteers entering this service.

Education
Jane graduated from the University of California at Berkeley with a Bachelor of Arts and has completed numerous real estate, finance and appraisal courses. She has experience as a certified trainer for Department of Real Estate classes in Reverse Mortgages, Real Estate Appraisal and Prevention of Real Estate Fraud.
