Originally from Massachusetts, and escorted by her Carmel native husband, Galen came to the Monterey Peninsula in 1981. During that time she was an active Realtor, driven by her extensive background in sales and marketing.

Following a period of exclusively raising her 2 sons, Galen entered the mortgage business in 2003. As a certified Mortgage Planner www.cmpsinstitute.org her practice includes the first time home buyer or the seasoned investor for Residential Purchase and Refinance transactions and Reverse Mortgages. Galen is a Certified Senior Advisor www.society-csa.com a gold standard organization whose focus is on education and aging and seniors. Galen understands the unique financial needs of seniors and their housing. Within her industry she is a Member of the Local Government Affairs Committee of the Monterey County Association of Realtors (MCAR) deliberately to keep abreast of issues that effect homeowners and Realtors alike.

Galen is committed to a high level of service and a philosophy of collaboration with other professional advisors so as to create mortgage solutions that compliment her clients overall short and long term financial goals.

She serves as a Board Member with Carmel Youth Center and the Alliance on Aging Development Council in Monterey, California.

When time and weather permits tennis, skiing and outdoor sports are life long passions always pursued with a vigor along side with family and friends.
